The Americana Festival is led by a Board of Directors and is organized by volunteers of the community - residents, business owners, community groups and city volunteers. The Festival includes a 5K run, student scholarships, auto show, street fair, parade, and to top it off the fireworks. Local community organizations also sponsor additional activities. Relay for Life
Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature event. The Relay is dedicated to cancer survivors, in the hope of someday finding a cure for cancer. This event reinforces the message that today more and more people are surviving cancer. Corporate employees, friends, church groups, and neighbors join together in teams and take turns walking or running on a track throughout this overnight event.
The 3rd annual Centerville Relay for Life was held June 23rd and 24th at the Centerville High School track. Check back here for updates of the next event. Become a member of the Centerville Team or start your own. Contact Maureen Russell-Hodgson at 433-7151.
